My Background
Hi there! I'm Ash, and swimming has been my lifelong passion. Born and raised in Zimbabwe, I started swimming provincially at the age of 10. A year later, I made my national debut at the 2006 Sub-Saharan Invitational Swimming Junior Championship in Zambia, representing my country with pride.
At 16, I put competitive swimming to the side to focus on my IGCSEs and school team swimming. In 2018, I embarked on a new adventure and moved to the UK. Despite the distance, my love for swimming has only grown stronger. This enduring passion led me to my latest venture: starting my own swim school.

My Inspiration
Now, let me tell you about the inspiration behind my logo. The flame lily, Zimbabwe's national wildflower and my personal favourite, is featured prominently. It symbolises strength and resilience, blooming after the rains in December, even after the devastating bush fires that occur during Zimbabwe's dry winters. The green outline in the background represents the shape of Zimbabwe. This logo serves as a constant reminder of my roots and the place where my swimming journey began, fuelling my determination to pursue this new adventure.
At the end of a provincial/regional swim gala in Bulawayo, where I swam for Mashonaland Country Districts.
